OUR CHILDREN

The children in our program are the "poorest of the poor" in our project area.  Due to the high rate of AIDS in the region, there are unending numbers of children and orphans who are suffering.  Many of our children are living with extended family or neighbors, most often widowed women, becoming an added stress to an already impoverished household. 

Prior to sponsorship, the majority of our children could not attend school regularly due to their obligation to work to financially assist their family with daily needs.  As they weighed the choice of their education to that of hunger, they rarely had the comforts of both.

YOUR SPONSORSHIP

For only $25 a month (the cost of dinner & a movie), you can provide a child the opportunity to attend school and provide them and their family with the basics of life such as food, clothing & health needs. By knowing that someone cares enough to support them with their daily struggles, each child can then focus on their education and future of possibilities.

Sponsors will receive a photo and profile of their child, as well as personal correspondence and reports on the child's progress during the year.
